Rhysly Martinez holds an M.Sc. degree from California State University, Channel Islands, where she was involved in a team-based establishment of an innovative research program proposal for the treatment of sepsis. She was a student researcher in a plant genetics laboratory at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, where she also completed her undergraduate studies with a concentration in biochemistry and minor in English.
