Ribosomal protein S28
From Proteopedia
Ribosomal protein S28 (RPS28 in eukaryotes/archaea) is one of the ca. 33 proteins which belong to the small 40S subunit of the eukaryotic ribosome. It is found also in the small 30S subunit of archaea. The images at the left and at the right correspond to one representative RPS28, i.e. the crystal structure of Ribosomal protein S28E from archaeon Methanobacterium Thermoautotrophicum (1ne3).
