Muscle LIM protein (MLP) is a nuclear regulator of myogenic differentiation. It may act as an integrator of protein assembly of the actin-based cytoskeleton. Mutations in MLP are seen in cases of cardiomyopathy. For more details see Group:MUZIC:MLP.
