Cell division protein

Cell Division Protein FtsZ (Ftsz) is the prokaryotic homolog of tubulin. Ftsz assembles into a ring at the site of the septum in bacterial cell division. Ftsz stands for Filamenting Temperature-Sensitive mutant Z.
