Trichodiene synthase
From Proteopedia
Trichodiene synthase (TCS) catalyzes the conversion of trans,trans-farnesyl diphosphate to trichodiene and diphosphate (PP). TCS belongs to the family of sesquiterpene syntases which cyclize the acyclic farnesyl diphosphate to a Sesquiterpene. TCS contains metalion-binding motifs.
