Crystal structure of Drosophila N-cadherin EC1-3, II
Template:ABSTRACT PUBMED 22171007
Function
[CADN_DROME] Cadherins are calcium-dependent cell adhesion proteins. They preferentially interact with themselves in a homophilic manner in connecting cells; cadherins may thus contribute to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types. May associate with arm neural isoform and participate in the transmission of developmental information.
About this Structure
3ubg is a 2 chain structure with sequence from Drosophila melanogaster. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA.
