Template:STRUCTURE 4gwo

Crystal structure of ligand binding domain of LysR family member,CysB in complex with sulfate from Salmonella typhimurium LT2

Function

[CYSB_SALTY] This protein is a positive regulator of gene expression for the cysteine regulon, a system of 10 or more loci involved in the biosynthesis of L-cysteine from inorganic sulfate. The inducer for CysB is N-acetylserine. CysB inhibits its own transcription.

About this Structure

4gwo is a 2 chain structure with sequence from Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar typhimurium str. lt2. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA.
