Crystal Structure of WHY2 from Arabidopsis thaliana

Template:ABSTRACT PUBMED 24192350

Function

[WHY2_ARATH] Single-stranded DNA-binding protein that associates with mitochondrial DNA and may play a role in the regulation of the gene expression machinery. Seems also to be required to prevent break-induced DNA rearrangements in the mitochondrial genome. Can bind to melt double-stranded DNA in vivo.[1] [2] [3]

About this Structure

4kop is a 4 chain structure with sequence from Arath. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA.
