Casein kinase
From Proteopedia
Casein kinase (CK) is a protein kinase which functions as regulators of signal transduction. CK1 is a serine/threonine kinase with several members: α, β1, γ1, γ2, γ3, δ and ε. CK2 functions in cell cycle control, DNA repair and circadian rhythm regulation. CK2 is a tetramer with a pair of 2 subunits – the α subunit is the catalytic one and the β subunit is the regulatory one.
