Summary

Subunit B (colored red) of PAL tetramer in both ribbon and surface representations. Each subunit has a “sea-horse” shape that forms overlapping regions with two neighboring subunits. Cinnamic acid, a product formed from by L-Phe catalysis, is also shown in this figure.
