Architecture of the Na+,K+-ATPase αβγ-complex, with its K+/Rb+ sites. It shows in blue the α-subunit with its important cytoplasmic domain and its 10 transmembranal helices (numbered beginning with the most N-terminal). S (for switch) in light red represents the small C-terminal helix. The β-subunit represented in wheat colour, the big extracellular domain and its single transmembranal helix can be seen. The small γ-subunit is represented in red.
