Ribosomal protein S10 (RPS10) is one of the 22 proteins which belong to the small subunit of the bacterial ribosome. It functions in binding tRNA to the ribosome and operates as a transcriptional elongation factor. The images at the left and at the right correspond to one representative RPS10, i.e. the crystal structure of Ribosomal protein S10 from Thermus thermophilus (2zm6, chain J).
