Ribosomal protein S11 (RPS11) is one of the 22 proteins which belong to the small subunit of the bacterial ribosome. It functions in selecting the correct tRNA. The images at the left and at the right correspond to one representative RPS11, i.e. the crystal structure of Ribosomal protein S11 from Thermus thermophilus (2zm6, chain K).
