Ribosomal protein S19 (RPS19) is one of the 22 proteins which belong to the of the bacterial ribosome. It forms a complex with RPS13 that binds to 16S RRNA. The images at the left and at the right correspond to one representative RPS19, i.e. the crystal structure of Ribosomal protein S19 from Thermus thermophilus (2zm6, chain S).
