Ribosomal protein S22 (RPS22 in eukaryotes/archaea) is one of the ca. 33 proteins which belong to the small 40S subunit of the eukaryotic ribosome. The images at the left and at the right correspond to one representative RPS22, i.e. the crystal structure of Ribosomal protein S22 from Saccharomyces cerevisiae (1s1h).
