We apologize for Proteopedia being slow to respond. For the past two years, a new implementation of Proteopedia has been being built. Soon, it will replace this 18-year old system. All existing content will be moved to the new system at a date that will be announced here.

HOMEODOMAIN FROM RAT LIVER LFB1/HNF1 TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR, NMR, 20 STRUCTURES

Overview

The nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) solution structure of the, non-classical homeodomain from the rat liver LFB1/HNF1 transcription, factor was determined with the program DIANA from an input of 1356 nuclear, Overhauser enhancement (NOE) upper distance constraints and 228 dihedral, angle constraints collected using experiments with the unlabelled, the, uniformly 15N-labelled and the uniformly 13C-labelled protein. Out of a, group of 50 independently calculated conformers the 20 conformers with the, smallest residual DIANA target function values were refined by energy, minimization with the program OPAL and are used to represent the NMR, structure. The average of the pairwise root-mean-square deviations, (r.m.s.d.) of these 20 individual NMR conformers relative to the mean, coordinates is ... [(full description)]
