Crystal Structure of Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen 1rwz
Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen (PCNA) acts as a DNA sliding clamp by encircling the DNA and linking it to the genome. It is a processivity factor for DNA polymerase (Dpo) δ in eukaryotic cells. The images at the left and at the right correspond to one representative PCNA, i.e. the crystal structure of Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen from Archaeglobus fulgidus (1rwz).
