Description of Protein/Function

4RIU is a one chain structure and a transmembrane homodimeric enzyme with an extracellularly positioned catalytic domain. 4RIU's functions include bone resorption, regulation of fluid secretion into anterior chamber of eye and catalyzing the hydration of CO2 to HCO3− and a proton.10.
