If you have been unable to receive emails from Proteopedia.Org[1][2], here is a workaround.

  1. Create a new email account at gmail.com. (We know that gmail will accept messages from Proteopedia.)
  2. Request a new account at Proteopedia, using your gmail address.
    1. If you already have a gmail account, you may use it but be sure to empty the spam mailbox first.
  3. Carefully look for a message from account@proteopedia.org. You must confirm your email address from a link in this message. If you do not receive this message right away,

Notes

  1. The Proteopedia Staff has confirmed (January, 2016) that some email systems reject emails from Proteopedia.Org. One system that we know to reject our emails is yahoo.com. In contrast, we know that gmail.com accepts our emails. We believe the problem is with Proteopedia, not with yahoo.com. We are working to fix this problem.
  2. Eric Martz is an administrator at Proteopedia.Org who is in charge of approving and creating new accounts.
