Tritopodin is the less investigated protein of The Podin Family. The gene is formed from 5 exons and until now 3 proteins isoforms have been descrived. Tritopodin is essential for Heart and muscle development and function. Tritopodin’s Mutans showsmyofibrillar disarray and disruption of somite boundaries and sarcomeric integrity.
