FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) הורמון מגרה זקיקים


הורמון מגרה זקיקים (FSH – Follicle Stimulating Hormone) הינו גונדוטרופין -המופרש בשני המינים על ידי תאים גונדוטרופיים בקדמת בלוטת יותרת המוח (היפופיזה). הגונדות אשך או שחלה הינן איברי המטרה שלו. על גביי קרום תאי המטרה קיים להורמון זה. הפרשת גונדוטרופינים, וביניהם FSH, מתחילה בעקבות הפרשת הורמון-משחרר-גונאדוטרופין (GnRH) מההיפותאלאמוס והשפעתו על בלוטת יותרת המוח.
