Function
ZYG1_CAEEL Protein kinase that plays a central role in centrosome duplication. Paternal copy is required to regulate synthesis of daughter centrioles prior to fertilization. Maternal copy regulates centrosome duplication during later cell cycles. Functions upstream of sas-5 and sas-6, and is required for their localization to the centrosome.[1] [2] [3]
