Function
TARS_STAAM Attaches beta-O-GlcNAc (beta-O-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine) residues to the C4 position of poly(RboP)-wall teichoic acids (WTAs). Mediates beta-lactam resistance in methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strains.[1]
