Function
CARR_PSEAE Member of the two-component regulatory system CarS/CarR that regulates the expression of multiple genes involved in calcium signaling and homeostasis including CarO and CarP (PubMed:26755627, PubMed:33674436). May function as a transcriptional activator by direct binding to a cis-acting sequence upstream of the target gene promoters (PubMed:26755627).[1] [2]
