Function
KDSAH_BACTN 3-keto-disaccharide hydrolase that preferentially hydrolyzes 3-keto-trehalose (3-dehydro-alpha,alpha-trehalose) (PubMed:33657378). Important for disaccharide utilization in the human gut (PubMed:33657378). Also shows hydrolysis activity with the glucosinolates glucoraphanin or glucobrassicin, but with much lower efficiency (PubMed:32084341).[1] [2]
