It is found mostly in eubacteria. The L10 forms a complex with a dimer of L7/L12. This complex is called L8. The acidic ribosomal protein P0 is the equivalent of the 50S L10 and the 60S L10E. Relevance Mutation in RPL10 causes X-linked intellectual disability and cerebellar hypoplasia[2].
