Comments on your Outline

Assignment 4: IIB: Tertiary Structure: Map polar/nonpolar or charged and uncharged regions of GS monomers. Use space filling model. Map where polar and nonpolar residues are located in the protein. Comment on significance.[5]

1. Your outline is a very good start, you have all the major points.
2. But it does suffer from usage and grammar error, which makes it difficult to read.
3. You have the wrong Glutamine Synthetase: the version you have is human you must use the Salmonella version. Please replace the applet.
4. The first paragraph is not necessary. You can assume the readers know about the stuff you mention in the first paragraph.
5. You may want to start with the sentences of the final paragraph as your introductory paragraph.
6. I commend you for commenting on significance; I was a bit unclear as to what I meant, and you did a good job. I did not expect a lesson on protein folding. I was not sure what I wanted in regard to significance.
7. We need to schedule a time to go over your final draft to correct errors to ensure a reasonable grade.
Grade: 8/9
