I am an associate professor at Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield, MA. I have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. I worked in two post-doctoral positions, one at the University of Connecticut Health Center with Kent Morest, M.D., and the second at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with Paul Manis, Ph.D. Between the two I was studying the ultrastructure and electrophysiology of synaptic structures in the cochlear nucleus and cerebellum. Currently, I teach Anatomy & Physiology to Allied Health students with a focus on clinical applications.
