Sadao Shiosaka, PhD is professor ofNeuroscience at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology. He received the M.S. degree from Nagoya University, Japan, in 1977. He received the Ph.D. degree from Osaka University in 1982. Since joining the department of Anatomy, Osaka University Medical School in 1979, he has been engaged in functional neuroanatomy and neuroscience research. Currently, he is a member of the Japanese Society of Neurochemistry, the Japanese Society of Anatomy and, the Japanese Society of Neuroscience. His research interest is in memory and learning.
