PKSE_BACSU Probably involved in some intermediate steps for the synthesis of the antibiotic polyketide bacillaene which is involved in secondary metabolism. Probably has an acyl transferase activity and could also have a flavin mononucleotide-dependent oxidoreductase activity.[1]
