Talk:Scene authoring tools

The phrase "check off" is rather confusing to me as a non-English native speaker. I gather it really means to mark or select the checkbox, but the first reading points to unmarking the checkbox.
Also, the instructions do not match the current tool: "skip the zoom-out" and "skip the transition" are not checkboxes, but drop-down menus.

Angel, please do feel free to clarify any of the text!

Ok, changed the phrase "check off" and updated the instructions to match the fact that drop-down menus were used, as per your suggestions, thanks Angel. --Eran Hodis 17:53, 31 January 2009 (IST)
different representations on two selections in one scene
Hello, I would like for my scene to make one ACY disappear, and to have a residue in different representation from the rest. It's not clear to me how I can make different representations (hide, stick) on two selections in one scene. Is it possible at all? --Ralf Stephan 11:45, 7 February 2009 (IST)
Choose one group of atoms using the 'selections' tab (you'll be able to see what you've chosen by turning selection halos on). Then set the representation for that group. Now choose a different group of atoms, and set the representation for that group. --Eran Hodis 13:13, 7 February 2009 (IST)
- Thanks. I found out how to use the tools. --Ralf Stephan 16:52, 7 February 2009 (IST)
