My name is Cornelius Taabazuing and I am currently a graduate student in the CBI program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and received a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology degree. My current research is focused at developing inhibitors for Factor Inhibiting Hypoxia (FIH), an asparaginyl hydroxylase that regulates Hypoxia Inducible Factor (HIF).
