Hi, my name is Danny Soares, I'm currently an otolaryngology resident at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. I'm presently working on a research project with Dr. Drescher, PhD regarding the role of the Ferlin genes (specifically Ferlin 6) in the organ of Corti. I obtained a BS in Physiology & Neurobiology with a Minor in Microbiology from the University of Connecticut in 2004 and a Doctorate of Medicine also from the University of Connecticut in 2008. I'm currently in the process of completing the third year of my otolaryngology residency.
