I received my undergraduate degree (B.S. with honors) from Union College in Schenectady, NY. My Ph.D. is in Neuroscience from University of Arizona (1993). I have been teaching at STCC since 1995 and am a full professor. My current research interests are in making biology education (and all STEM education) more accessible for all learners; I have two NSF-funded projects toward that goal at the current time.
