I'm an undergraduate student working in Professor Williamson's Biochemistry lab in Amherst College, MA.

The lab's focus is on determining the mechanism of action for P4-ATPase flippases that transport phospholipids from the inside of the phospholipid bilayer to the outside. Such flippases allow for asymmetric phospholipid distribution and is important in cell signaling.

My project is currently determining the structure of a vital subunit of the P4-ATPase to help explain its mechanism.
