Kozenkov Ivan - postgraduate student(like Ph.D student) in Immanuele Kant Baltic Federal University (BFU), Kaliningrad, Russia.
I graduated with a degree biochemist in 2008.
I work in laboratory of genomic and proteomic research in BFU innovation park, which was founded in 2009. I lead a proteomic research group. We (our proteomic group or "unit") have been working with some subcellular organells (mitochondria, ribosomes) for 1,5 years.
I mastered the techniques of PCR (real-time PCR, reverse-transcription PCR, nested PCR with genomic DNA, mtDNA, RNA and miRNA), gel electrophoresis techiques(agar GE, SDS-PAGE, BN-PAGE, DIGE, IEF and 2D-PAGE), Western-blot and Southern-blot techniques, mass-spectrometry (I am working on a MALDI-TOF/TOF and ion-trap devices), spectrofotometries and some other techniques (HPLC and TLC).
