I am a teaching Postdoc at Amherst College in the Chemistry Department.

I worked on IAPP amyloid fiber formation during my PhD, primarily working with kinetics and NMR data.

I am beginning work on an Alpha Crystallin project, which may be the opposite of IAPP as far as structural stability. Alpha Crystallins are small heat shock proteins that also are the primary protein component in animal lenses.
