Graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague in Physical engineering in 1995. Ph.D. from the same University in Applied Science, specialization in protein crystallography in 2000. Protein crystallographer at the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague since 1996. Ph.D. stay 1995-1996, Oxford University, Laboratory of Molecular Biophysics. Post-doctoral stay, University of York, U.K., YSBL, 2001-2004.
