I am Lecturer in biochemistry at the University of Turku, Finland. My subject of research is the enzymology of antibiotic biosynthesis. Our group (http://www.sci.utu.fi/projects/biokemia/abe/index.html) has, together with the Molecular structural biology group (http://phillips.mbb.ki.se/) of the Karolinska Institute published the structures of 12 enzymes participating in aromatic polyketide biosynthesis.
