I am currently an Academy of Finland research fellow and I work as a group leader at VTT (VTT is the Technical Reseaach Centre of Finland). I work with protein engineering and protein science in general. Two groups of proteins that I have worked the most on are hydrophobins and cellulases. A current interest is to engineer proteins for interactions with nanomaterials and how to control the structure of nanomaterials using biomolecular self-assembly.
