Current

  • Show a clear transition between scenes? Yes/No
  • Slowly move to the new zoom/orientation position? Yes/No

Observed behaviour:

  • yes yes = zoom out the previous scene, then slowly zoom and move the current scene
  • no yes = remove previous scene instantly, then slowly zoom and move the current scene
  • no no = instantly remove previous scene and show instantly the current scene
  • yes no = zoom out the previous scene, then show instantly the current scene

Clarification and possible rephrasing

These options apply to how the scene that is being created/edited will load with respect to the previous one. (Is this correct?)

  • Show a clear transition between scenes? = transition for leaving the previous scene
    • yes = zoom out the previous scene before loading the current scene
    • no = remove previous scene instantly
  • Slowly move to the new zoom/orientation position? = transition for introducing the current scene
    • yes = load file for the current scene, then slowly zoom and move to the current scene
    • no = load file and instantly show the current scene (without transitions)
    • Note: there may always be some delay while the file for the current scene is loaded (if it is a different file or if the option 'Always Reload Structure When Loading this Scene' was checked)
