Assignment 13: IVD: Inhibitors: Explain how a competitor inhibitor binds to the active site. [2][10]

1. Need to ensure you correctly use the WIKI syntax so you do not have blue boxes.
2. Using incorrect applet—the one you show is human, you need to show prokaryote GS.
3. The WIKI shows the residues in the active site, but it is not the active site.
4. The text does not mention all the inhibitors and the controversy over competitive and concerted or cumulative inhibition. Might want to mention feed back inhibitors versus ala and ser which are not feedback inhibitors. You can use your textbook to help you.
5. You might want to mention if covalent modification enhances inhibition.
6. More work is needed.
