User pages versus pages in the Main area
Hi Tom,
I noticed you created a page called "Tom Garrett". This is just great, and you're certainly welcome to create a page about yourself in Proteopedia. I just want to point out the distinction between "User pages" and pages in the "Main area". Right now, I'm writing you a message on the "discussion" page of your "user page". Your user page is at "User:Tom Garrett" while the page you created in the Main area is just at "Tom Garrett". Again, you're certainly welcome to create this self-titled page in the Main area; I just wanted to make sure you understood the distinction between these two pages.
Only you can edit your user page, but anyone can edit the "Tom Garrett" page in the main area.
Here is a link to your user page : User:Tom Garrett which I can type into a page by typing [[User:Tom Garrett]]
Here is a link to the page titled Tom Garrett in the main area : Tom Garrett which I can type into a page by typing [[Tom Garrett]]
To send me a message, you can visit my user page at User:Eran Hodis and click on the "discussion" tab and add a comment. Either that or just find me here at Erice.
