Assignment 9: IIIC: Helical thong: Map the interactions involving the helical thong that stabilize quaternary structure. Explain how these interactions contribute to quaternary structure stability.[2][5]
1. Well written and to the point.
2. I liked your use of rockets portrayal.
3. I am wondering if you use rockets to show all of the thongs in GS in an opening slide and then zooming in on one.
4. Would spacefill portrayal of the interaction instead of thick wires be better.
5. We can make an appointment to discuss final draft.

Final Comments
Hi Gents
This is a pretty good job. I am not sure if a better view of the hydrophobic pocket is possible, but given the amount of time left, this will have to do. It would take some more experimentation to find a better presentation. On the positive side all WIKIs were clear and the text well written.
Comments:
1. Helical thong complexes provide a significant amount of intersubunit stabilization to the... The WIKI and the text are not a good match. I am left not knowing what the spacefill representation means. I assumed its a helical thong complex--but what is that?
2. The WIKIS showing the helical thong interactions with the hydrophobic pocket suffers from a lack of orientation. Where is the C-terminus of the helical thong, and the other subunits ought to be labeled as well.
3.These residues contain an atypical abundance of proline and valine, 16% and 10%, respectively (with proline shown in pink and valine in green). This unusual amount may serve to enhance its rigidity and cohesion. [1] [2]--I am not sure what the antecdent--are you referring to the pocket or thong?
