Crystal Structure of EBA region II (mutant) complex with sulfate and Cl- ion, 1zro
Erythrocyte binding antigen (EBA) is a ‘’Plasmodium falciparum’’ ligand which binds to erythrocytes. Some strains are dependent on sialic acid for binding. For more details see Malaria Parasite Plasmodium falciparum Erythrocyte Binding Antigen 140.
