Erythrocyte binding antigen (EBA) is a Plasmodium falciparum ligand which binds to erythrocytes. Some strains are dependent on sialic acid for binding. For more details see Malaria Parasite Plasmodium falciparum Erythrocyte Binding Antigen 140.
