Complex Between Nucleosome Core Particle and 146 BP Long DNA Fragment

Structure

Heterodecamer structure containing ten subunits. The protein has four distinct polypeptide molecules which are histones, including palindromic 146 BP. The complex also contains one distinct DNA molecule.

Function

The complex is a core nucleosome. The protein acts as a transcription regulator, repairs DNA, helps with DNA replication and chromosome remodeling.
