Transitioning to detailed view

Here are six different scenes to start with.

• (try B3-BN)
• (try BN-B3)
• (try BN, B3 in either order)
• (try B3)
• (try B2-B3-BN or B1-B2-BN-B3)
• (use B0)

For the last one, there is only one choice: Load the new coordinates and show the new scene without transition:

The following buttons can be used to transition to a scene showing just ATP. You can decide whether to press all buttons on the left in sequence, or skip some. You can also decide when to press the buttons of the right. The scene is done transitioning once you pressed the last button on the left, and the one on the right. It should look like the scene you get when you press the "abrupt scene switch" button above.

Transitioning to overall view

Current options in SAT

I will start with the (or you can start with ). Then, I will transition to the ATP view with the 8 combos of switches (zoom, transition, reload). Captions will show which options were set.

Simplified proposal: opt out of transition

Keep the reload switch as is. If new coordinates are loaded (because they are new, or because reload is requested), switch directly to the new scene (no zoom no move).

Remove the other two switches, and always zoom out, show new scene, zoom in when the coordinates stay the same. If author wants to skip transition, turn reload switch on. If an author wants a different option, use JmolLinks to change orientation "by hand" (is faster anyway because there are no 1 s delays built in).
