The contains alpha helices (gold) and beta sheets (purple). Overall, it forms a beta barrel motif.

Residues

Pictured in yellow are the . Note that they are primarily in place of the beta sheets. The rersidues are pictured in green. Note that they are on the outer part where the helices were. Overall, it gives TIM a more hydrophobic core and an more hydrophilic shell.
