Deoxycytidine kinase

Deoxycytidine kinase (DCK) is required for the phosphorylation of deoxyribonucleosides dC, dG and dA and nucleosides analogs which are used as antiviral and chemotherapeutic agents. Deficiency of DCK causes resistance to these agents.
